Yeah-

I TOTALLY hear ya on that one, saw BOTH Oxford shows in 88....
what a GREAT scene over there.

However, we're sorta locked into NYC, i work as a paralegal for a Major law firm, my wife works in human resources for a major Toy Store.....you get the idea...

Its sorta hard to just pack it all up for the country when your counting on that monthly revenue.

I was at those Oxford shows too camping outside the track. It sure was a great scene with friendly vibes from the locals. Damn, that seems like such a long time ago (actually i suppose it is a long time ago - damn, i'm gettin old) Maine is so beautiful - do lots of skiing up there.
It does have to be tough raising kids in the city. I am a bit south of Boston in a relatively small town (pop. about 16K) - and it is even though raising kids here. There are just so many bad influences around - it seems like it just gets tougher and tougher to protect one's children.
I wish i could just pack it up and move someplace serene and "simpler." Somedays i just feel like selling my business and moving.

AAAhhhhhh The Iriony of life is simply amazing, Oxford Valley Speedway were my first shows, the camping scene was simply amazing and that's what sold me on the Dead. Remember the mile or two walk to the Corner Store to get Ice and Water, sounds boring but man what an adventure that turned out to be... And the nightly bonfire up to the left of the parking lot, couple guys with guitars singing songs late into the night, everyone sitting around sharing some of yours 'cause we done shared all on mine...

YEAH!!! Great times, chills running down my spine just thinking about it now, Thanks Guys!!!
